In the morning, my mom had meetings, so I hung out at the hotel. We then went with our wonderful friend Kate (who's my mom's colleagues) and her father to see a 12th century church that was carved directly into the mountainside. It was beautiful, atmospheric, and kind of creepy. Then we went to a Greco-Roman style temple, and we saw a Roman bathhouse with a caldarium, tepidarium, and frigidarium (different temperatures of rooms). Then we had another Armenian feast. First we sat in a cave-like place, with a very inefficient heater -- we got very cold and decided to go inside.

Did you have a feast in a cave? That's odd.
Have you seen Mt Ararat?
It's cold in Vancouver now: minus 7C this morning, but it's sunny.

Hi Ridge,
You are seeing so much and doing so much!!! Amazing. The old 12th century Church would be an attraction that I'd love to visit.
White Vancouver? YES. We got about 10cm of Sunday and the temps have been minus ever since. We have another snowfall warning for tonight. Everyone is bringing their crazy carpets to school. The cold and snow is suppose to hang around for another week. Some are saying that I brought it with me from Ontario....we moved to BC to get away from it!
The concert is Thursday night. The Scholastic book fair was today. Never a dull moment - so much going on.
When will you be in Georgia?....North America.
Take care, stay safe. Give my best to your Mom too
